ALWAYS KEEP YOUR BEAUTIFUL IMAGINATION & EXQUISITE HUMOUR

Hi, thanks for stopping by...

It's a new challenge at Crafty Cardmakers' Blog today, the theme is
 'Add A Sentiment'
the above card is my contribution but please pop over to see my design teamies' cards, there is a gorgeous selection of their beautiful cards.

If you click on the link below it will take you directly there:

I have used a new stencil to create part of the focal point on my card and dusted the flower heads with a distress ink pad.  I then used a different distress ink for the background and applied 'splatters' of clear water to lift some of the colour.
The sentiment, which I call a filigree font, was stamped using 'Rich Cocoa' ink pad.  The wording is a little difficult to read, hence my take on 'filigree' and I have typed the words in full on the title post.
The stencil is an ideal size should you want to cover the front of an A5 card, and it gives you a lovely border, that I think that is a bonus!
So if you have 5 minutes click on the above link and see the other gorgeous cards from the design team and if you would also like to enter the challenge I will look forward to seeing your card too!
