Autumnal Tree

GOOD MORNING

Thank you for popping by...
I think today's card would be ideal for a
male recipient, what do you think?

I started with a piece of A4 copper card by Creative Expressions and folded it to make an A5.  I added a mat of white card and another of the copper but I embossed the copper card using Celtic Flower by Sue Wilson for Creative Expressions

I stamped the tree (an old one from my stash) using Perfect Medium by Ranger, coated it with WOW Copper embossing powder then drew a few lines on the tree trunk to give some definition

The Warm Wishes is from a freebie set and was also stamped and embossed the same as the tree

Using shrink plastic I stamped and embossed several leaves from the same freebie pack using WOW Copper embossing powder and added a little red to one leaf and black to another for contrast.  These were adhered around the tree base and one leaf to the tree branch

To complete I lightly dusted a little Mowed Lawn Distressing Ink by Ranger to and around the tree base, a little Broken China Distressing Ink by Ranger to the top left corner of the card.  I then drew a 'fussy' thin border to finish

Thank you for visiting...

  2. This card looks beautiful, so simple and yet says volumes by its "plain-ness". Yet another fantastic creation xxx
