CARD COMMISSION

Hi, thanks for stopping by...
When I was asked to design a card for this particular lady, and as it was a 'special' birthday, I was told not to hold back on the on the decoration.
The lady in question happens to be a relative of mine too so...
Happy 50th Birthday Moya!
As it was for a 50th I thought it appropriate to use gold card

This is a white,  8" square card base with a gold narrow mat then another mat of white card
  • I used one of the corners dies from the 'Decorative Blossom Corner' and die cut the top left corner
  • I die cut just below the centre of the white card with the Lavish Swirls from the Diagonals Range
  • The floral element was made using the Cape Daisy from the Finishing Touches Collection
  • These were die cut and embossed with alternate gold and white card
  • I made three of these flowers in different sizes and glued them to the top right corner
  • The bling is from Hobby House.   I used only a partial amount from the set
  • I typed the sentiment, die cut it using the penultimate oval die from the set followed by die cutting another oval, in gold, using the eighth die from the set. I matted the sentiment onto the gold card and glued it to the bottom right
  • To complete I typed a personal verse and adhered it to the inside of the card
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and hope my designs have given a little inspiration. I read all your comments and really appreciate you leaving me a message.
