WATERCOLOURED BUBBLEBLOOM LILLY

Hi... thanks for popping by...
On this white water coloured card stock by Crafter's Companion I created a background with a few Spectrum AQUA pens.  I used my heat tool to ensure the background was dry.  I stamped the image using  Woodware's 'Bubblebloom Lilly' stamp set (includes the stamp and sentiment) with WOW embossing powder in Metallic Gold Rich then heat set it.  Using a selection of Spectrum Aqua pens, water and a fine brush,  I coloured the flower and leaves.  I used Ranger Archival Ink Pad in Coffee to stamp the sentiment

TO SOMEONE VERY SPECIAL

Hi... thanks for popping by
This is an A5 white card base with a thin mat of antique copper foundation card by Creative Expressions then a mat of white card that I embossed with a folder called linen by SW for CE.
I used the 3 section only of the Shadow Box frame  and cut this out using antique copper card I also cut 2 tags with the same card.  I cut and embossed Happy Birthday in white card (die from my stash) and adhered to the first tag, added mounting foam to the back then adhered to the final tag.
I also cut 2 You're A Star sentiments from the Shadow Box Accessory - You're A Star by SW for CE and used a spray glue to adhere them together.  This was then placed below the images as shown.  From the same You're A Star accessories I cut and embossed one football, one rugby ball and the number 1.  I used felt pens to colour each one, added mounting foam to the backs and adhered them into the individual cubbies.  Using an Archival Ink Pad in coffee I stamped the sentiment, from Phill Martin's 'Baroque Border Sentiments' for Creative Expressions to the bottom of the card, added a few bronze sequins and placed a verse inside the card

SUNFLOWER & A SPECIAL OFFER NOT TO BE MISSED!

Hi... thanks for popping by
I used ivory linen card for this and stamped the image, 'Sunflower Delight Stamp Set' by Creative Expressions with Ranger's Perfect Medium Clear Embossing Ink.  I then sprinkled Silver Metallic Embossing Powder by WOW over the image and used my heat tool to set it.  I used Spectrum noir pencils in yellow and  two shades of green to colour the flower and gently brushed a 'smoothie', from my stash that already had a little bit of ink on it (sorry, can't remember the colour) to brush a little colour on the background.
I created a wide border using the Double Pierced Squares by SW for CE to form a frame and adhered this to the main card

JUST FOR YOU BUT PURPLE IS DIFFICULT TO CAPTURE!!!

Hi... thanks for popping by...
Another shadow box card (I love using shadow boxes) BUT this shade of purple has been so difficult to capture on film... just as the title states! lol
This card, again, was for another friend's 50th birthday and I was very pleased with the layout and colour combo.  All the die cuts are shadow box accessories by SW for CE and I used a top folding, white, A5 card base that I matted with wisteria and white foundation card by CE and a beautiful shade of purple pearlised card by Crafter's Companion.  The final white layer was embossed, I added flat backed pearls to one perfume bottle, added Diamond Sprinkles to the middle and bottom bottle and painted the middle bottle top with a silver paint pen, the bottom perfume bottle I coloured the atomiser in purple.  Three flat backed pearls were adhered to the top right and bottom left of the card and I used the same two stamps, by Woodware, for the verse as I had on yesterday's card

Thank you for visiting my blog, your comments and questions are always welcome

Tomorrow I have a special offer available for you

RETAIL THERAPY

Hi, thank you for popping by...
A fun card for today.  I used a white A4 card base, folded in half to create an A5 size card.  I matted and layered this with gold foundation card/CE and a black sparkle card/Crafter's Companion.  I used the frame from the Shadow Box Collection - In The Garden, by SW for CE and cut this out on gold foundation card and added mounting foam to the back, for dimension, I sprayed the frame with Stick and Spray by Crafter's Companion and sprinkled Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels in Diamond Sprinkle by CE over it then adhered it to some pretty paper, in a peachy taupe, from my stash.
I used several elements from SW's Retail Therapy - Shadow Box Accessory Die Set and for the lipstick and nail polish I add Cosmic Shimmer Clear Varnish Lacquer to give the lipstick and nail polish a sheen.  I cut 4 layers of 'Just For You' in white foundation card, adhered these together then sprayed the sentiment, again with Crafter's Companion's Stick and Spray, and covered it with Diamond Sprinkles.
As this card was for a friend's 60th birthday I used my label maker to print 'Sexy 60' for the nail polish and 'Red Hot' for the lipstick.
I used 2 stamps by Woodware for the verse and stamped these onto white paper using Ranger's Distress Ink in 'Hickory Smoke', this colour gives a softer appearance compared to using a sharp black ink pad, as shown below

Don't forget that for a chance of owning yesterday's card you need to leave me a comment as I'll be announcing the winner tomorrow!
Enjoy the remains of the weekend

SATURDAY GIVE AWAY

Hi... thanks for popping by for our first 'give away' of 2017!

I started with a white 5"x7" card base and matted this with Antique Copper Foundation Card by Creative Expressions.  I then used the Petite Striplet - Jubilee Die Set by SW for CE at each side of a piece of white card measuring 13cm x 10.5 cm, and added double sided adhesive by Woodware to the back of these.  I sprinkled Cosmic Shimmer Gilding Flakes in Red Blaze.  These were then burnished into the design using a Rub-it Scrub-it.  I used both the outer and inner dies to cut a separate piece in white card, backed it with double sided adhesive and applied the gilding flakes as described above.  Foam tape was adhered to this piece to give it dimension then adhered to the centre of the main focal point.  Thin mats of white and antique copper card were added to the back of this and adhered to the base card.  I stamped Happy Birthday in 'Coffee' using an Archival Ink Pad by Ranger, I place one of the Stitched Flags Dies by SW for CE to the sentiment, then cut and embossed it.  I used an accent pen in gold to the edges of the sentiment, added mounting foam to the back and adhered this to the card base

Leave me a comment to win this card and I will draw the winner on Monday

JUST FOR YOU

Hi... thanks for popping by

This is one of my favourite colours, aqua, by Creative Expressions, in their foundation card.
I started with a 7"x7" white card base and added two thin mats and layers in aqua and white card. I then cut another piece of white card using the Double Pierced Squares Die Set by SW for CE.  Next I cut a smaller mat in aqua card and embossed it using the Nordic Tiles Embossing Folder by SW for CE and adhered this to the base card.
Using the Sydney Die Set from SW's Australian Collection I cut a white base with the outer cutting die then using the decorative die I cut this in the aqua card and adhered to the white base. I followed this by using the largest circular die, from the same die set, and cut out the centre.
Using a stamp set from my stash I stamped the sentiment in black and covered it with a double sided adhesive sheet, this was then cut using the smaller circle die from the same set.  Once I removed the adhesive backing I sprinkled Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels in Diamond Snow then adhered it to the centre of the card.
I cut several flowers using both the closed (white card)  and open (aqua card)  Daisies Die Set by SW for CE and adhered the layers with Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear Glue.  I placed a pearl on each flower and adhered the flowers to the card as shown.
A verse was stamped on white paper and placed inside the card.

IT'S A GIRL

Hi... thanks for popping by...
This is a 6"x6" white card base that I matted and layered with pale pink and white foundation card by CE.  The final layer of pink card was embossed using an A4 M-Bossabilities Folder by Spellbinders, sorry but it's one of my old embossing folders and I can't remember its name!  I then cut the stork and nappy in white card and a white and pink heart using the New Arrival - Stork And Baby Dies Set by Sue Wilson for Creative Expressions. I then blanked the stork's legs and beak before I sprayed both the stork and nappy with glue and sprinkled Ultra Fine Flower Soft in White to cover both pieces.  This gives texture and a more realistic touch to both the stork and nappy.  From the Shadow Box Collection - New Arrival Die Set by SW for CE, I cut the individual BABY letters out of white card and embossed the letters, still in the dies, using a small embossing tool, doing this achieves a more defined image.  With a yellow ProMarker and a tan ProMarker I coloured the stork's beak and feet and added a small black gem, for the eye,  from CE. I also cut 2 thin white borders using the Double Pierced Squares by SW for CE and adhered these together as well as adding mounting foam to the back and placing it onto the card front.  I then cut 3 It's A Girl from the New Arrival - It's A Girl Die Set by SW for CE and one in pink card.  The white ones were adhered together and I created a shadow by off setting the pink card to the white layers then used spray glue over the image and sprinkled Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels in Diamond Sprinkles over the sentiment and adhered to the top left of the card.  The stork was adhered to the card using mounting foam for dimension, as were the white blocks and the two tiny hearts.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

GET WELL
Happy New Year Bloggers, thank you for popping by...
I made this particular card for a very dear relation of mine who is poorly.
The elements are from the Shadow Box Accessory - Feel Better Soon by SW for CE.
I adhered a small glass bottle, by Woodware, to the main tablet bottle die and as well as adding white micro beads by CE inside it.  I added the tablet instructions by using my 'brother' label printer on the small font setting.  The small flower is from another die set by SW for CE.
I used white and custard foundation card by CE for my mats and layers and added silver sequins, by CraftStash,  to the bottom of the card to complete the design.
The finished card is an A5.
Thank you for visiting, I welcome your comments and any questions you may have.
Tomorrow I have some exciting news to share with you.

FINAL CHRISTMAS CARD FOR 2016

Hi bloggers, thank you for popping by...

This is an 8"x8" white card base that I matted with a thin gold mirri then added a white mat that I'd embossed with the Star Swirls A4 Embossing Folder by SW for CE
From SW's 2015 Collection I cut 2 of the Snowflake Borders and one tag again using
gold mirri card.  The borders were adhered to the card and mounting foam was adhered to the tag and placed in the centre of the card.  I typed the sentiment then added a piece of double sided adhesive sheet to it, removed the backing and sprinkled Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels in Diamond Snow

Thank you for visiting and wishing you all a very happy Christmas and New Year
I'm having a break over this festive time and will be back in the New Year with some exciting news and new plans for my blog...

CHRISTMAS GREETINGS

Hi... thanks for popping by
This card was made for a commission and I decided to make it a circular card for a change!
It was very easy to put together once I had decided on what I would do.
I used a white card base and one of the pierced circle dies by Sue Wilson for Creative Expressions and cut the shape leaving a slight overhang at the top of the card to create a hinge.
Using a smaller circular die in the same range I cut this in a red glossy card from my stash.
I used the same card for the two die cut baubles by Memory Box.
Again I used a smaller circular die from the same range to create a final mat and embossed this using the A4 Star Swirls Embossing Folder by SW for CE.
I typed the sentiment onto white card then added some double sided adhesive sheet to it and used one the tags, again by SW for CE to cut it out and also used the larger tag for the red gloss background tag.  I removed the adhesive sheet from the sentiment and sprinkled Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels in Diamond Snow to it as well as adhering 3 small red gems.  The white pearls are by Creative Expressions and I adhered these near to the edge of the card

Thank you for visiting and you're welcome to  leave me a comment or a question about today's card
All for now
