Hi, thanks for popping by...
I made today's card for a friend's birthday, she loves purple.
I used coconut white foundation card and scored it, in half, to create an A5 card, portrait style.
I added thin layers of wisteria, lilac and purple foundation card die cutting each piece using Spellbinders's A2 Matting Basics A.
I then die cut the Mia Die Set in coconut white card and using the outer cutting die from the same set I die cut it onto purple card.  The two pieces were then adhered together.  I placed this onto the card to enable me to stamp the sentiment above and below the die cut.  I stamped the two sentiments using Black Soot Distress Ink.  I added mounting foam to the back of the Mia die cut and adhered it to the card.  A large pearl dazzler was adhered to the centre of the die cut.
To create the 'petticoat' effect I again used the  same coloured card stock and die cut these using the Cassiopeia Die Set.  They were then added to the bottom of the card and three flat back pearls were added to the top layer.  I added another three flat back pearls (2 small and 1 large) to the top right of the card.
Thank you for visiting, I read all your comments and appreciate you taking the time to leave me a message and hope my designs have given a little inspiration.
