TWO SHADES BUT ONE CARD

Hi... thanks for popping by

I thought I'd show you just how, by adding a little extra light to the same card, can make a huge difference!

The top one is too dark and the bottom too bright LOL!  The colour of the card is actually a very pretty pink

Let me know which you prefer

SATURDAY SPECIAL GIVE AWAY ~ HOME

Hi... thanks for popping by

Today's give away card is made using several new dies by SW for CE.  From the Kinetics range I've used the 3D Window Box and Accessories and the Arched Window/Door.  From the Finishing Touches range I used several elements from the Spring Foliage Dies Set.  I added a piece of acetate behind the windows to give the appearance of glass

If you'd like to give this card a new home all you need to do is comment below and a winner will be picked Monday morning, so don't forget to come back then to see if it's you!

Thank you for visiting, have a good weekend

BIRTHDAY WISHES FOR A FABULOUS DAY

Hi... thanks for popping by
Teal foundation card by CE is one of my favourite colours and adding white and a little black to the card really enhances the design.  I have to confess of this being one of my older cards so I'm struggling to name the dies used!! The striplet die is by SW for CE and I added Cosmic Shimmer Twinkles in teal to the inner diamond shapes of the striplet card.  A *handy hint is to cut a second striplet and adhere over the previous one and in that way it makes for a neater image.  The flowers and swirls are Spellbinder Dies as is the topper for the sentiment
Thank you for visiting, I really do appreciate you checking in to my blog and taking the time to comment
Tomorrow is the Saturday Special Give Away Card... all you need to do is come back here tomorrow and if you would like to give the card a new home leave me a comment.  The winner will be picked and announced on Monday

I LOVE YOU

Hi... thanks for popping by
This is my first card that I've designed for 'Crafty Cardmakers Blog, the theme is
Love, Love, Love.
Please take a look at the blog and see the lovely cards designed by my 'teamies'  There's plenty of inspiration to get your crafty juices going!!!  You may even decided to enter the challenge too!
For this card I used a 7"x7 white card base and added a thin red mat.  I cut another piece of white foundation card so that it would 'sit' at an angle to the bottom left of my card.  I embossed it using an Embossalicious folder by Crafter's Companion and adhered it to the card.  The heart die and sentiment is also by Crafter's Companion and I cut and embossed both pieces.  The tiny hearts are the  'fall out' cuts from the Trellis Edger Die Set by SW for CE and I adhered these in a 'swirly' pattern across the card

ONE FOR THE MAN IN YOUR LIFE!

Hi... thanks for popping by
The male population do tend to miss out on most of our cards so I thought I would rectify that today!  A very easy card to make.  I cut a piece of white card and adhered it to the black 'jacket' base.  I cut a narrow piece of white card and adhered that to the centre of the card then added 6 small black flat backed gems to give the impression of buttons.  Cutting more white card to create a shirt collar and adding that I then used SW's  bow die  to cut and emboss several layers of black card for the 'black tie' and adhered this onto a black base card that I had previously added red card too leaving a narrow border
